Beginner Tip

I will always recommend that beginners start with mids and fairways as they complement your arm speed more with little to no effort to get the disc to fly the way you want it to. You’ll see more success and you’ll be much more satisfied with your game if you can see success in your shots by throwing slower discs until your arm has grown stronger which will allow you to move up to higher speed disc such as drivers.

Most Memorable Moment

My most memorable disc golf moment was when I got my email that I was being signed with Westside discs. I was in Nacogdoches, Texas playing at Pecan Park with my boyfriend and our good friend Adam Lamar. I knew the time was getting close for when those emails were going to be sent out and sure enough I got my email and it’s been life-changing ever since.

Disc Golf Career Goals

I want to hit as many major events as I can on the National Tour and eventually play overseas in tournaments such as the Europe Open, the Australian Open, the Tyyni Open, etc. I also want to be a 900+ rated player and eventually get my first invite to Pro Worlds and go to compete.

I carry two Swords: one is a new overstable disc for primary power backhand shots and the other is a very seasoned neutral/understable disc I use for 99% of my shots off the tee.

Westside Discs Recycled Sword

This is a very seasoned understable disc in use for tailwinds, hyzerflips, turnover shots and anhyzer shots with minimal fade.

Westside Discs VIP Sampo

This is a go-to, overstable/neutral flight for shorter distances.

Westside Discs VIP Stag

This is a go-to, high glide, fairway I can use for almost any shot.

Westside Discs Tournament Hatchet

This is a go-to understable fairway I use for hyzer flips, anhyzers, and tailwinds that use little to no effort to throw.

Latitude 64 Opto River

This is a neutral fairway I use for shorter and slower shots with a very straight finish.

Dynamic Discs Lucid Getaway

This is an overstable fairway that fights well in the headwind with a lot of fade.

Westside Discs Tournament Longbowman

This is a disc I primarily use for Thumbers and Tomahawks along with short side flick upshots.

Westside Discs Tournament Seer

This is a very finesse disc, great for tunnel shots and easy straight up the middle shots, especially for low ceiling.

Midrange

Westside Discs VIP Anvil

This is an extremely overstable beadless mid I like to use for very stiff headwind backhand upshots, forehand upshots, or to get around very tight corners.

Westside Discs Tournament Bard

This is an overstable beaded mid I use for skip shots, backhand and finesse anhyzer, forehand upshots.

Westside Discs VIP Pine

This is an overstable midrange I use for back handing around corners and hyzerflips into a headwind.

Westside Discs Tournament Warship

This is a slightly overstable go-to mid I can put some power on for max distance with extreme glide.

Westside Discs VIP Sling

This is a slow, predictable, neutral mid that I use for straight upshots with little to no glide to scoot up to the basket.

Westside Discs Tournament Tursas

This is an understable mid that I love to use for big anhyzer shots, along with finesse hyzerflips.

Putters

Westside Discs BT Soft Harp

I use this putter for headwind putts, finnese anhyzer side flick upshots, and an occasional around the corner upshot.

Westside Discs Origio Burst Maiden

This is my go-to off the tee driving putter, as it has lots of glide and is a very easy thrower.

Westside Discs BT Medium Swan 2

This is my go-to putter for jump putts, inside and outside the circle putting.

Westside Discs Megasoft Swan 1 Reborn

This is a utility putter I use only if I want it to stick, flop, and prevent roll always in dangerous situations for upshots and inside the circle putting.
